What is Uyarvu MADANI 2.0?

Uyarvu MADANI is a business grant initiative under the Malaysian Indian Transformation Unit (MITRA), created to support Indian entrepreneurs from the B40 and M40 income groups.

Under Uyarvu MADANI 2.0, an additional RM25 million has been allocated, bringing the programme's overall funding to RM50 million.

With the expanded allocation, the programme aims to support 1,400 entrepreneurs across a range of business sectors.

The original 2026 Uyarvu MADANI programme introduced three levels of support, allowing assistance to be matched to different stages of business development.

Strong Demand

Why Was Uyarvu MADANI Expanded?

The first Uyarvu MADANI programme received strong interest from the Indian business community. Within just five days of its launch, MITRA reported receiving 1,340 applications. The original programme targeted around 700 entrepreneurs. The subsequent additional allocation expanded the overall target to 1,400 entrepreneurs.
